Andrew Pope

Andrew Augustin Pope, 14, of Sweetwater, Texas, passedaway Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Services will be 10 A.M Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Sweetwater Municipal Auditorium. Burial at the Sweetwater Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday May 2, 2023, from 5-7pm at McCoy Funeral Home. Pastor Loran Rule will be officiating the service.
Andrew was born on July 25, 2008 in El Paso, Texas to Armida McDonald and Alan Pope. Andrew was an incredibly kind, considerate, and loving child, brother, and friend. He had a laugh that would fill a room and cause anyone who heard it to smile and feel joy. He was incredibly creative and intelligent. The love and impact he had on others was extensive throughout the community and will be felt for years to come.
He is survived by his mother Armida and his father Alan. His brothers Alexander, Adam, and Arthur. Gabriel and Whitney, though they are his cousins, are like brother and sister. Maria Kennedy, Anna McDonald, Maria Wyatt, Marcia McDonald, Anita McDonald and Cristina McDonald are his aunts. Marcial and Enrique McDonald who are his uncles. The list of family who support him istoo extensive to cover all the uncles, Aunts, and cousins but we appreciate and love them all. We love you so much Andrew and we will miss you every day.
