It is with great sadness that the family of Angela Manino Hunt announces her passing on December 21, 2024, at the age of 48, at her home in Slidell, LA. Angela is survived by her loving husband Jerry Hunt of 15 years, daughters Ava and Morgan, brother Nolan, nephew Lane and niece Brittney; Aunt Lynn, Tanja [David] Doucet, Godson Joseph Doucet, and many loving family members and friends.
Preceded in death by mother, Ivy Burgdahl and father, Reggie Manino.
Angela loved to cook, she made the best gumbo and anything else you could think of. Ina Gard was her muse. She was a cookie aficionado. Her cookie decorating skills were those of a professional and everyone wanted her to bake some for them.
A Celebration of Angela’s Life will take place on Saturday, December 28th, at 12pm, with visitation stating at 10am, in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Hwy 437 (Lee Road), Covington, LA 70435.
Memories and condolences can be left on the obituary at the funeral home website.
The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
