WADESBORO - On Friday, July 25, 2025, Angela Miller Rogers, 53, passed away peacefully at Hospice Haven in Rockingham with her family at her bedside.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Tuesday, July 29, 2025 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mt. Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday.
Angela was born November 24, 1971 in Anson County, NC and was a daughter of Alton Rayvon "Sugar Man" Miller, Jr. and Wanda Tyson Chappell. She was a graduate of Anson High School.
She excelled in sports and paved the way for girls to play baseball with the boys. she played little league baseball, softball and basketball. She was a star athlete in Anson County.
Those who are left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Angel Rogers Baker of Cordova and Kristi Rogers Williams (Chris) of Polkton; her grandchildren, Trystin Rogers, Karlie Hildreth and Elena Williams; her parents, Wanda and Jerry Chappell of Wadesboro and Sugar Man and Mary Miller of Lilesville; her sister and brothers, Amy Whittington of McFarlan, Dwayne Miller (Renee) of Rockingham, Daniel Miller (Melissa) of New Salem, Christopher Miller of Wilmington and Jerry Chappell (Bobbie) of Myrtle Beach, SC; her nieces and nephews and their families and her aunts and uncles.
Angela will be remembered for her love for her children and grandchildren and how much she enjoyed spending time with her family.
The family appreciates so much the services of Anson Community and Richmond County Hospice and Hospice Haven for the the care they provided Angela.
Flowers are welcome, but for those who prefer, memorials may be made to Anson Community Hospice a division of Richmond County Hospice, 1119 NC 1 HWY, Rockingham, NC 28379.
