Angelia Louise Arnold
June 24, 1949 – March 10, 2025
Zebulon – Angelia Arnold of the Pilot community died on March 10, 2025. She was the daughter of Jessie Willard Arnold and Ruby Mullen Arnold. She was also proceeded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Mullen Woolard and brother, Henry J. Mullen.
A graduate of Bunn High School, Louisburg College, and NC State University, Angelia taught mathematics in Randolph and Franklin County Schools for many years.
Angelia was a long-time member of Pilot Baptist Church. For years, she taught Sunday School in the Children and Youth Departments. She enjoyed reading, doing needlework, crafts and puzzles, spending time at the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
Angelia is survived by her sister, Shirley Harris of Justice and brothers Willard Arnold of Wendell and Walter Arnold of Canyon Lake, TX; nephews Richard Glenn Woolard of Zebulon, Tracy Proctor of Newton Grove, Kevin Mullen of Goldsboro and Richard Arnold of Simpsonville, SC; nieces Karen Adams of Raleigh, Aurora Poole and Michelle Crane of Wendell, and Sarah Arnold of Canyon Lake, TX. She is also survived by numerous great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nephews, and great-great niece. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pilot Baptist Church, 8103 NC-39 Zebulon, NC 27597
The family would like to express their appreciation for the many acts of kindness and love shown to them during the illness and death of Angelia.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the Bunn-Alford Upchurch Cemetery.
