Angelina Perez, a beacon of kindness and compassion, left our world on January 10, 2024. Born on August 17, 1956, in Brooklyn, New York, Angelina's life was a testament to the power of love, care, and generosity. She passed away peacefully in Tampa, Florida, surrounded by the warmth of her family's love.
Angelina, known affectionately to all as just Angelina, dedicated her life to the service of others through her work as a registered nurse. Her career was more than a profession; it was a calling that she pursued with unwavering commitment and boundless empathy. The lives she touched through her work are countless, and her impact as a healer of both body and spirit will be felt for generations.
Beyond her professional life, Angelina was a woman of many passions. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as listening to music and solving puzzles, activities that reflected her contemplative and analytical mind. But above all, Angelina cherished time spent with her six grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Her love for them was a radiant force that guided her every action and decision.
Angelina was the loving and proud mother of two daughters, Jacqueline Morales and Jennifer Lugo. She was also a cherished sister to Alba Crespo, Jose Perez, Zoraida Ponce, and Thomas Perez. Her family was the cornerstone of her existence, and she nurtured each relationship with the same tenderness and care that she bestowed upon her patients. In each role, she was the epitome of love, kindness, and thoughtfulness, qualities that defined her essence.
Those who knew Angelina will remember her for the warmth of her smile and the gentleness of her spirit. Her presence was a comfort to those in need, and her willingness to listen and empathize made her a confidant to many. In every interaction, she embodied the words of Mother Teresa: "Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier." Angelina lived this message daily, leaving a trail of happiness and love wherever she went.
As we bid farewell to Angelina Perez, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and passion. Her legacy is one of selfless love and profound kindness, a legacy that will continue to inspire and guide us. Her memory will live on in the hearts and minds of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Angelina's life was a journey of giving, and even in her passing, she continues to be a source of inspiration. Her story is not one of an end but a beautiful chapter in a much larger narrative of love and service that will be told for years to come.
We take solace in knowing that Angelina's spirit will forever be a guiding light in the lives of her beloved family and all who cherished her. Her journey on earth has concluded, but the love she shared remains eternal.
In the quiet moments, we will find Angelina in the melodies of the music she adored, in the laughter of her grandchildren, and in the countless memories of kindness she created. Her life was a beautiful puzzle, each piece a moment of compassion that, when assembled, revealed the portrait of a truly remarkable woman.
Though we mourn the loss of Angelina Perez, we also celebrate the profound impact of her extraordinary life. She has left us with a legacy of love that will never be forgotten, a legacy that encourages us to live each day with the same thoughtfulness and grace that she did. Rest in peace, dear Angelina, and thank you for the love you've given us all.
The family will receive friends on Monday January 15,2024 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Haught Funeral Home 708 W. Dr. MLK Jr. blvd

I met Angie as she was lovingly known, at our church in Brooklyn, NY, John 3:16. Angie was funny, caring, dedicated and a wonderful person. I remember when she began studying nursing. We all knew she'd be great because of who she was. I learned a lot from her tenacity and love of family. My condolences to her wonderful daughters and family. Praying God wraps all of you in His Peace and Love. Love you Jackie and Jennifer.
