Angelo Saladino, Sr. Obituary
Angelo B. Saladino, born December 12, 1940, died on Friday, August 23, 2024 at Resthaven Nursing Home at the age of 83. Proud father of 5 children, Patricia, Catherine, Angela, Angelo, and Carolann; Loving grandfather to 9 grandchildren, Jason, Mandy, Crystal, John, Mary, Gary, Christina, Christopher and Angelo, III; and 16 Great-grandchildren, Jesse, Ashley, Selina, Julian, Steven, Cole, Liam, Chloe, Daelin, Major Lee, Desinay, Grey, Xavion, Joshua, Ainsley and baby Kehlani.
He is preceded in death by his father, Pascal Saladino, Sr.; Mother, Catherine Monistere Saladino; Brother, Pascal Saladino, Jr.; Sisters, Bena Vitrano and Nancy Saladino; 4 grandchildren, Geno, Howard, Jayden and Lil Gary, Jr.; and former wife of 39 years, Patricia Saladino.
Angelo served in the National Guard for 4 years and worked for Standard Brands and Amax Nickel Plant, eventually retiring from B.P. Oil.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Thank you to his best friend, Eddie, for everything you did.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana 70435. Inurnment to follow in the Eternal Rest Cemetery.
