Angie Athena Wilkerson, age 66, of Decherd, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Winchester, Tennessee, on May 30, 1959, to the late W. Bartley and Ola Lee (Painter) Hall. Angie, was a dedicated bus driver for many years, lovingly transporting countless children to and from Head Start in Sewanee, leaving a legacy of kindness and care in her community. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, and proud Army veteran. She was kind, helpful, and had a zest for living. Throughout her life, Angie was known for her outgoing nature, warm heart, and ability to make those around her feel loved and cared for. Angie cherished her confidence and beauty, she loved to have her hair fixed, always taking joy in her personal style and the way it reflected her vibrant spirit. She enjoyed spending her time watching reality TV shows, sewing beautiful creations, and cooking delicious meals for her family and friends. A dedicated sports fan, she cheered passionately for the Titans and Steelers, sharing her enthusiasm with loved ones. Angie valued her privacy but was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, embodying strength, compassion, and resilience. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by, her fur baby, Bella; and special friend, Bridget DeRorre. She is survived by her loving partner of 35 years, Anthony Wooten; children, Cierra Wilkerson and Renada Wilkerson; and granddaughter, Athena Starr Wilkerson.
