Hartence Haskins on July 20, 1969, in Baltimore City, Maryland. She was preceded in death by Yvette Haskins (sister), Tyronia Edison (sister), Gerald Edison, Jr. (brother) and John Saunders, Jr. (son). Her surviving family includes Patricia Haskins (mother), Gerald Edison (father), Charlotte Edison (sister), Veronica Wise (sister), Shallice Scott (sister),
Sharon Scott (sister), Keenan Lounder (son), Jovan Saunders (daughter), Tacarra Williams (daughter), Brandon Robinson (son) and three grandchildren, Saige Shorter, Sola Wilson and Kardi Lounder.
Anissa attended Walbrook Senior High School in Baltimore, Maryland where she ran track and marched with the Twilights Marching Band. She was baptized at Hebron Baptist Church. More
recently, she attended Christ Church Knoxville and had a long participation in Samaritan Ministry (Central Baptist Church). She valued the opportunity she had to speak on radio and television for HIV awareness through Fort Sanders Hospital. Anissa enjoyed crafts, tending her flowers and bringing sunshine and smiles to others. Samaritan Ministry and Positively Living contributed significantly to Anissa's life and well being and continue to benefit others who face life challenges. For those who desire, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Samaritan Ministry. The family will receive friends from 3:00pm-4:00pm on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Northside Christian Church (4008 Tazewell Pike, Knoxville, TN 37918). A service will follow at 4:00pm with Robert Butler officiating.
