Anita Atkinson Obituary

Anita was born to her late parents Pendleton and Marguerite Brown in Laurel, Mississippi. Anita, although she was blind, worked in manufacturing and loved playing the Autoharp, reading her braille books, playing board games with her nieces and nephews, crocheting and donating what she made. She also spent much time in prayer and bible study.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James, and her brother William.
She is survived by her sister, Clarice Landrum.
Visitation with the family will be held Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 1:00pm until 2:00pm with funeral service at 2:00pm at Central Funeral Home. A private burial will follow.
