Anita C. Edwards

Anita C. Edwards, 90, of Marlton, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, at Samaritan Hospice in Voorhees, New Jersey. Born on April 17, 1935, in the heart of South Philadelphia, PA, Anita's journey through life was one of joy, resilience, and an enduring spirit that touched the hearts of all who knew her.
She was the beloved matriarch of a family that adored her, including her devoted children, Cherie Ann Edwards, Chuck Edwards (Denise), and Keith Edwards. Her grandchildren, Kristen, Dominick, Daniel, Logan, and Kayla, were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her great-grandchildren, Emily and Caden, brought her immeasurable joy. Anita's sister, Rose Rotella, shared a bond with her that was unbreakable. Together, they navigated the waters of life with grace and laughter. Anita was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Cloyde Edwards.
Anita loved the Philadelphia Phillies. She loved cheering them on and watching the games from home. Beyond the baseball, Anita was an active participant and also a captain of her team in the Jolly Mixers bowling team. And in bowling, her competitive spirit and camaraderie were always on full display. She loved going to the campground where she was involved for twenty years of summers with family and friends. She enjoyed movies and dining out, and she was always ready for a new adventure or a shared experience with her friends and family.
Anita's outgoing nature was further exemplified by her involvement in the Navy Wives Club, a testament to her supportive role while her husband served in the Navy. She also was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Marlton for many years.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the Bradley Funeral Home, 601 Rt 73 South and Evesham Rd, Marlton, NJ 08053. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am, at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Park View Cemetery at Kirby's Mill in Medford, New Jersey.
