Anita Louise "Mudder" He'bert, 82, ascended to Heaven on August 21, 2025, in her home.

Anita was born to the union of Murrell He'bert, Sr and Pinkie He'bert.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Murrell, Sr and Pinkie He'bert; daughter, Karen Elizabeth He'bert-Brown; grandson, Corey He'bert; 3 brothers, Robert "Nicky" Turner, Murrell Jr, and Melvin He'bert; Sylvia Gamble, Iris Lewis and Ann He'bert, WHO IS Vita

She is survived by her loving daughter, Courtney He'bert; the centers of her life, her grandsons, Charles He'bert, Christopher He'bert, Couren Gibson, and Machai Gibson; siblings, Uncle Tucky, Gwendolyn He'bert-Ward, and Deloris He'bert-Breaux; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.

Anita went by several nicknames; "Teedy", "Nabear", "Nita", "Ma". But, she was most proud of "Mudder".

Relatives and friends of the family are all invited to attend her Celebration of Life Service on Friday, September 5, 2025, 1:00PM, at Professional Funeral Services, 1449 N. Claiborne Ave, New Orleans, LA 70116. Visitation will be held from 12:00PM until the hour of service. Interment Private
