Anita L. Lutz, beloved mother, grandmother, wife, and friend, passed away on August 21, 2025, at Bethesda North Hospital after bravely battling numerous health issues in her later years, ultimately succumbing to the effects of two strokes during her last hospitalization. Anita embarked on a fulfilling career in nursing after attending Good Samaritan Hospital school of Nursing in Cincinnati. She dedicated herself to caring for others, embodying her belief that everyone deserves love and attention. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her professional life; she was the cornerstone of her family, illustrating through her actions the importance of looking after one another. Even as her health began to decline, Anita's passion for caring never wavered. In her absence, she graciously recruited her husband, Paul, to continue the family legacy of support and care.

From cooking breakfast for Anthony and Austin and ensuring they got off to school, to taking her grandchildren, including Alex and Chase, to Kings Island during delightful summer outings, Anita created memories that will forever resonate in their hearts. Her home was filled with warmth, laughter, and the culinary delights she prepared for her loved ones.
Anita's loving dedication also extended to her daughters, Nancy and Jane, as well as her parents, Anthony and Louise Metelko. Though she grieves the loss of her brother, Louis, and her daughter, Jane, her enduring love and spirit live on through her family.
