Ann Marie Allen, age 82, of Oscoda, MI., passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025. Ann was born on January 10, 1943, in Flint, MI., to the late Elwood Stanley and Anna Mae Wedge. Anna and Elwood divorced, and Anna remarried Lyle Allen Corner, and although Lyle was her stepfather, Ann considered him to be her father.
Ann graduated from Kearsley High School in Flint in 1961 and went on to attend Baker College. In 1982 she married the love of her life, Craig Gordon Allen. Craig was full-time Army and also USPHS, so Ann became a "military wife" and had many careers over many States. Ann was employed by McGraw – Hill, Twin Island HOA, Ross Furniture, Michigan National Bank, and self-employed. She was an accountant, financial analyst, HOA secretary/treasurer, CEO C&A Properties, CEO Vision Anesthesia LLC, and owner of Ann Marie's Fudge Store. She and Craig loved to travel and in her down time she was an avid reader. They eventually retired in Oscoda on Lake Huron and had 43 wonderful years together.
Ann is survived by her husband, Craig; son, Chris (Sara) Allen of Ypsilanti, MI., daughter, Kim (Mike) Livingston of Rancho Murieta, CA; brothers, Court (Debbie) Allen of Bethany Beach, DE., Joel (Mary) Corner of Flushing, MI., Sam Corner of Fenton, MI., Michael Corner of Montrose, MI.; sister, Coleen (Bryan) Baker of Delmar, MA; grandchildren, Justin and Hazel; nieces and nephews, Cam Allen, Courtney Lussenhop, Lisa (Jesse) Trevino, Donald (Amy) Patterson, Lisa (Paul) Patterson, Brian Patterson, Sarah Corner, Emily Corner, Joshua Corner, Roseberry Clark, Jeff (Linda) Clark, Gregory Clark, Vicky (Marty) Brock, Jenifer (Jim) Questa
Ann is preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Alonzo Neisler; sisters, Carol Corner and Patricia Corner; nephew, and James Clark.
Per Ann's wishes, cremation has taken place. She will be interred at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI. Memorial contributions can be sent to Compassus Hospice 3217 W. M-55 #B West Branch, MI. 41661. An online guest registry is available at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com to share condolences, memories, and photos of Ann.

Dear Craig & family-
I didn't know Ann well. We only had a few chances to chat while I helped replace a "monster-size" range hood.

During one particular visit, Ann took much interest in showing me oversize B&W family photos in one of several albums. After reading her life background, it's obvious Ann led a very busy life. May God rest her soul.
