Ann Fogarty

Ann Fogarty (nee Weidehaus), age 93, of Warren, NJ passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Ann was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, whose life was marked by kindness and compassion.
Ann was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Anna (nee Curtin) and Thomas Weidehaus. She had lived in Long Island, NY before moving to Warren, NJ, where she had resided since 1971.
Ann was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who devoted over 20 years of volunteer service to Berkeley Heights Convalescent Center (now Autumn Lake Nursing & Rehab.). She was a dedicated volunteer at the convalescent center, where she offered companionship, support, and kindness to the elderly residents for many years. Her time at the nursing home was a testament to her selfless nature and her ability to bring joy to those around her.
Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, John T. Fogarty and her dear daughter Carol Fogarty-Perrin. She is survived by her loving children, Kathleen Fogarty of Oceanside, NY, Michael (Christina) Fogarty and Terry Fogarty, of Warren, NJ, and her son-in-law Don Perrin of Milton, DE; her cherished grandchildren, Ann Marie, Teresa, Paula, Sarah, Elisabeth, Mary, John, Izzy, and Matthew, and great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Julia, Gavin, Brendan, Robert, Brandon, Luca, and Micah. She was also pre-deceased by her sister Jean Czark.
The visitation will be held at Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial, 646 Springfield Ave., Berkeley Heights, NJ on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 2-5 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather for the funeral on Wednesday, Feb 5th, beginning at 9:30 AM, with the prayer service to begin at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge.
