Ann M. (Lawn) Kelledy, a lifelong resident of Woburn, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, October 10, 2025. She was the cherished wife of the late Richard T. Kelledy and was ninety-one years old.

Born in Woburn, Ann was one of three children of the late Thomas and Stella (McAllister) Lawn. Raised and educated in Woburn, she graduated from Woburn High School as part of the Class of 1951. After high school, Ann pursued further education at Hickock's Secretarial School in Boston. She spent nearly two decades working as a secretary in the insurance industry. Ann married her sweetheart Dick Kelledy, a gentleman she had met at the Cape, while on vacation! Together they journeyed over the next fifty years, raising their two daughters. Plymouth, Hampton Beach and Wellfleet were frequent summer destinations. They always enjoyed taking family vacations, and when Dick retired, Dick and Ann spent a good deal of time traveling. From one side of the continental United States to the other, they visited it all. Bermuda, Hawaii, Ireland, Alaska and cruises; and for several years were wintering in Florida!

All throughout the years, Ann was always ready to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed and enjoyed her volunteer work. Whether it was at churches, schools, the Choate Hospital, or the New Englanc rehabilitation Center. She stepped in to assist whenever possible. A woman of deep faith, Ann actively participated in various events and activities at St. Charles Church. From the bowling league and St. Charles School Board to bingo nights, the Catholic Women's Club, and the library, she truly cherished being involved.

A very kind, loving, genuine person, Ann's great faith and her love of family was first and foremost. Throughout the years, each and every day began with the rosary, living each day to the fullest, and being grateful for the blessings she received. Ann had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel special and valued, whether through her thoughtful words or her comforting presence. Her home was often filled with laughter and she loved to have a friend or family member over for a cup of tea and some of her homemade banana bread.

Ann's legacy lives on through her daughters, who have carried forward her values of kindness, honesty and community spirit. Ann was not just the matriarch, but a beacon of love and light-a testament to a life well-lived and a heart full of grace. Ann loved spending time with her granddaughters and enjoyed outings with them for snacks at Dunkin Donuts, lunch at Panera, the zoo and the park. Ann loved music and would alwys sing along to songs. She enjoyed her yearly trips to Tanglewood and the Holiday Pops at Symphony Hall.

Beloved wife of the late Richard T. Kelledy. Devoted and loving mother of Maureen A. Kelledy, of Tewksbury and Susan M. Bonica, her husband Joseph of Burlington. Dear sister of Thomas Lawn of Holyoke and the late Lorraine Damrath. Cherished grandmother of Lucy and Vivian Bonica. Also lovingly survived by her nieces, nephews and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Thursday, October 16th at 11 a.m. Interment in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn. Susan and Maureen,

John and I want to extend our deepest sympathies to you and your family. Ann was a very special lady loved by all - we always enjoyed her friendship and having her - and your Dad - as our neighbor for 20 years. I'll fondly remember just sitting with Ann, have tea and cookies and chit chatting, often taking a walk with her. Just a lovely person to be around. God Bless her and may she rest in peace holding hands with her beloved Dick. Sending hugs and love to all.

Best,
Cindy and John Simeone
