Ann Sorrell Rouse

Greenville – Ann Sorrell Rouse, 79, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023.
A Celebration of her Life will be held December 28th at 2:00 pm at Farmville Presbyterian Church.
Ann grew up in Wallace and lived most of her life in Wilmington. She married Jimmy Rouse who served in the United States Air Force. A highlight of their service time was living in England for two years.
While in Wilmington, Ann loved being outdoors. She enjoyed water skiing, camping and spending time with family and friends. After becoming a grandmother, nothing else mattered. Her three grandchildren became her everything. She and Jimmy later moved to Greenville to be near their family and became members of Farmville Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Jr. and Mary Sorrell; and a brother, John Sorrell, III.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jimmy Rouse; son, Jim Rouse and wife, Shauna of Winterville; three grandchildren, Kristen, Alli and Ryan Rouse; sister, Jan Greene and husband, Harlen; and other extended family.
