Anna Lee (Bryson) Gyekis, 98, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Peterson Hospital.
She was born November 1, 1926 in Wheeling, WV to the late Leroy & Edna (Rentschler) Bryson.
Ann was the secretary for Wheeling Heating for 26 years. She was a member and former President of the Women of the Church, a member of the Salvation Army, and a volunteer at Reynolds Memorial Hospital.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Gyekis; her siblings, Harold Bryson, Bill Bryson, Grace Luikart, Dorothy Pyle; and three nephews, David Bryson, Donald Bryson, and Jeff Bryson.
Ann is survived by her son, Robert (Vicki) Gyekis; three grandchildren, Leslie Gyekis, Kelly Brigham, Staci Gyekis; three great-grandchildren, Marshall, Elliot, Frances; and several nieces and nephews.
Ann will be greatly missed for her generosity, kindness, and ability to coordinate her outfits with her shoes, handbags, and jewelry for all occasions.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from 12pm until the time of service at 1pm, at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St. Wheeling (304-242-2311). Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St Mark Evangelical Church, 141 Kruger St. Wheeling, WV 26003 or Meals on Wheels at www.mealsonwheelsamerica.org, or The Alzheimer's Association at alz.org
