On October 10, 2025, Ann (nee Ragone), age 85 passed away at Brandywine Assisted Living in Haddonfield. Born and raised in Camden, Ann graduated from Camden Catholic High School in 1958 and began working at RCA. She worked there until 1968, when she became a new mother. She eventually went back to work and was an office manager for Ferry Station Apartments for 5 years and then began working at the Cherry Hill Inn as a sales administrator. Ann ultimately took a job at Lockheed Martin and retired from there in the Contracting department in 2002. Ann had been a resident of Cherry Hill for over 38 years until moving to Brandywine and was a devoted parishioner of St. Pius X / Holy Eucharist Parish. Ann had a gift for keeping people close. She stayed connected with her friends from grade school/high school through a sorority group that met every month for more than fifty years ~ a circle of women who grew up, raised families, and grew older together. She also had her "card club" friends, couples who met in their early married years and never lost touch, sharing not just games but a lifetime of laughter, stories, and friendship. Ann will be remembered for her generous heart and a gift for caring for others. She was an excellent cook, she was always ready with chicken soup for someone who was sick or a meal for anyone in need, as well as dishes she made for local soup kitchens. She was a sharp chess and scrabble player and brought joy to everything she did, especially to her family, whom she loved deeply.
Ann was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Carmella Ragone as well as her 3 sisters, Mary Leone, Florence Ragone and Rose Sciarra. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Deanna (Vincent) Fischer; her cherished grandchildren, Hanna, Michael and Thomas; her devoted brother, Daniel Ragone as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday, October 18th from 9:30 -11:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, 4th Avenue and Kings Highway, Haddon Heights here her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
