Visitation for Anna Kowalczyk, 74, of Palatine, will be from 9:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 18, 2025, at St. Joseph Home for the Elderly, 80 W. Northwest, Palatine. The Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine. Please join us in celebration of her beautiful life.
Anna was born in Radzilów, Poland on May 26, 1951, to Wladyslaw and Marianna Kosmaczewska. She passed away peacefully alongside her daughter on Sunday, July 13, 2025.
Anna was the beloved mother of Barbara (Ryszard) Rzeszuto; loving grandmother of Monica, Julia (Filip), and Damian; and cherished great-grandmother of Antonina; dear sister of Alfreda Sulewska, Jadwiga Swiecicka, and Zenon (Józefa) Kosmaczewski.
She was affectionately known by many as Hania. A talented seamstress, Anna expressed her creativity and care through every stitch. She dedicated her life to God, living out her deep faith through her religious devotion. Her struggles in life proved how strong she truly was, always finding comfort and strength in her prayers.
She joins in eternal life her husband Zbigniew Kowalczyk, and her brothers Józef and Kazimierz.

Cale swoje zycie poswiecila Bogu, dajac swiadectwo glebokiej wiary poprzez religijne oddanie. Jej zyciowe trudnosci ukazaly, jak silna byla kobieta, znajdujaca ukojenie i sile w modlitwie.
