Anna Lavespere

It is with heavy hearts and loving memories that we announce the passing of Anna Marie Lavespere, age 60 of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, who departed this life on Thursday, September 11, 2025, in South Carolina.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Gallagher Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services will be held on Saturday in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Unity Baptist Church Cemetery in Pineville.
Born in Alexandria, Louisiana on October 22, 1964, Anna was a woman whose vibrant spirit left a lasting mark on everyone she met. She had a natural gift for making people feel seen, loved, and welcomed-always greeting the world with a warm smile that seemed to come from the very core of who she was.She was a Tioga High School graduate in 1985. She had a passion for shopping, fashion, and clothes, always knowing how to find just the right outfit that matched her joyful personality. Whether it was a casual stroll through a boutique or a spontaneous adventure to a far-off city, Anna lived life with a sense of wonder and style. She loved to travel, and the beach was her happy place-where the waves met the shore and she could soak up the sun, laugh with friends, or simply enjoy the peace of the ocean breeze. Above all, Anna loved people. She never met a stranger, and she made friends wherever she went. Her presence lit up rooms, and her joy was contagious.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Bonnie Voncille Collins; father, Herbert Laverne Rachal; sister, Kala Lavon Rachal; and brother, Travis Rachal. She is survived by her loving daughter, Kristin M. Gordon and husband Jimmy D. Gordon; son, Blake Lavespere and wife Christina; grandchildren, Mia C. Gordon and Elise R. Lavespere; niece, April Rachal; cousin, Roxanne Miller; as well as countless friends who became family through the years. Her legacy is one of kindness, laughter, and a life fully lived.
Though she may no longer walk beside us, Anna's smile, laughter, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
