Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home - NatchitochesRobert Andrew Miller, III, known by all as Andy, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025, in Natchitoches, Louisiana, at the age of 53. Born on September 28, 1972, Andy was the beloved first child of Robert Andrew Miller, Jr. and Linda Lipford Miller. He led a life filled with joy, resilience, and a steadfast spirit that remained unwavering even as he battled cancer for three years.
Andy’s childhood was marked by a life of love, fostering a joyful and content upbringing. He actively played baseball and the piano during his formative years. His pursuits of excellence continued through his education, as he became an honor graduate from Tioga High School before earning a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University. For 30 years, Andy made significant contributions to the field of pharmacy robotics, demonstrating his passion for innovation and technology.
On February 24, 2004, Andy married his true partner and the love of his life, Toni Spence. Together, they shared a wonderful life, residing in Ocoee, Florida, Destrehan, New Orleans, and finally, Natchitoches, Louisiana. Andy’s warmth and kindness allowed him to forge lasting friendships, leaving an indelible mark on all those fortunate enough to know him.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Toni; his parents, Robert Andrew Miller, Jr. and Linda Lipford Miller; his sister, Shannon Saldana and her husband Juan; nieces, Chloe Voiselle and Sophie Saldana; a nephew, Brady Saldana; his mother-in-law, Cheryl Spence; sisters-in-law, Kim Moore and Jill Lofton and her husband Jason; and nieces Alexis Nelson and husband Erik, Allison Johns and husband Wesley; along with a great niece, Emma Paige Nelson; as well as an extended family and many friends.
Andy is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Beatrice and Marcus Lipford; paternal grandparents, Evelyn and C.L. Hendrix; and father-in-law, Keith Spence.
A celebration of life service honoring Andy will be held on December 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at The Community Center at England Airpark, 1718 Kegleman Blvd., Alexandria, Louisiana. This gathering will offer family and friends a chance to celebrate the life of an extraordinary man whose legacy of love, perseverance, and commitment will continue to resonate with all who knew him.
