Anna Maupin Obituary
Anna Marie Maupin, 83, Mooresville, passed away on March 22, 2024. Anna was born on December 18, 1940, in Tell City, and was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Charles and Jessie Marie (Knebel) Jones. She married Bobby Maupin on February 12, 1960, and he preceded her in death on November 1, 2012.
Anna graduated from Plainfield High School in 1959. She was employed at the former Hook’s Drug Stores and retired from CVS in 2002. Anna enjoyed gardening, canning her harvest, traveling with her family, and loved her cats. Anna will be remembered for her independence and caring nature.
In addition to her parents and Bobby, she was also preceded in death by her son, Robby Maupin.
Survivors include one daughter, Robin DeArth (Steve Morse); a brother, Larry (the late Darlene) Jones; and a sister, Mickie (the late Paul) Holding.
Anna’s Life Celebration® visitation and funeral service will be held at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 3, 2024, 4 to 7 p.m., with services beginning at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 4, 2024.
