Anna M. Murphy (nee Tusi), a woman of faith and kindness, peacefully entered into eternal rest on October 4, 2025, at her home in Gloucester Twp, NJ. Born on September 28, 1941, in Wilmington, DE, Anna's life was a testament to the power of love, compassion, and unwavering belief.

She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Murphy, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage filled with mutual respect and enduring love. Together, they raised two wonderful children, David Murphy and Sondra Murphy-Butler, who were the pride and joy of Anna's life. Their grandson, Calvin, added to their bliss. Her role as a mother and grandmother was one she cherished deeply, and she instilled in her family the values of kindness, generosity, and faith that she herself lived by.

Anna's intelligence and organizational skills led her to a fulfilling career as the office manager at the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. For 16 years, she served with diligence and grace, touching the lives of many with her thoughtfulness and care. Her work was not just a job but a calling, as she found great joy in supporting the mission of the Church and being a part of its community.

Anna's Catholic faith was the cornerstone of her existence. Her faith-filled spirit was evident in her daily actions, and she was a source of strength and inspiration to those around her. Anna was a true embodiment of a Christian life well-lived, and her legacy of love and service will continue to impact those who knew her.

As we bid farewell to Anna M. Murphy, we celebrate a life that was a blessing to so many. We take comfort in the knowledge that she is now at peace with her Creator, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire and guide us. Though she has departed from this earthly realm, her spirit remains alive in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were touched by her extraordinary life.

Anna's Prayer Service and Burial were held privately at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chew's Landing, NJ.
