Anna Muskrat Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lescher Millsap Funeral Service, LLC - Muskogee on Dec. 30, 2025.
Anna Lou Shell-Muskrat was born on Wednesday, February 18, 1953 in Modesto, California to James Scott Shell and Betty Jean Coleman-Shell. The family moved to Webbers Falls, Oklahoma when Anna Lou was just a baby. Anna Lou lived in Webbers Falls until her passing on Saturday, December 27, 2025.
Anna Lou married the love of her life, Teddy Muskrat on June 22, 1973 and enjoyed 52 years of marriage. Teddy and Anna Lou were very proud of their two children. Anna Lou found great joy in raising her children. Anna Lou also worked as a certified nurse aid for many years. She eventually earned her certified medical license and worked in nursing homes taking care of the elderly and anyone else in need. It is an understatement to say that Anna Lou was one of a kind. Anna Lou always put others first, she would be the first person to be by your side if you were in need.
Anna Lou loved Jesus and was a mighty woman of God. For many years, Anna Lou and her husband Teddy attended church at Christ The King Church in Vian, Oklahoma. Anna Lou served their church faithfully. Anna Lou's beautiful smile and her baby blue eyes shined brightest when she was able to share the love of God with others. When Anna Lou loved, she loved BIG and everyone that knew her loved her. She had a heart of gold.
