Anna Louise Nordman, 101, passed away August 28, 2025, peacefully in her sleep at Azria Health Wichita, Kansas. She was born on July 30, 1924, near Bushton, Kansas, to Willam and Barbara (Kirmer) Oberle. On February 22, 1955, she married Henry Eugene Nordman in Bushton, Kansas. He passed on January 8, 2014.

A long-time resident of the Olmitz and Albert area, Anna worked as a salesclerk for Gibson's, Dillons and Walmart, as well as an assembler for Fuller Brush. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish and Altar Society. Anna enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family.

Survivors include son, Gary Nordman and wife Pensri of Wichita; three daughters, Marlene Geier and husband John of Wichita, Evelyn Brown of Wichita, and Janet Liston of Bel Aire; daughter-in-law, Lucinda Nordman of Redfield, Iowa; six grandchildren, Justin Prodromides, James Nordman, Kolby Nordman, Sarah Betzen, Patrick Liston and Makayla Nordman; thirteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; brother, Urban Oberle of Claflin; sister, Dorothy Stoss of Great Bend; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Alan Nordman; sons-in-law, Kevin Liston and Roy Brown; granddaughter, Jessica Prodromides; six brothers, Ambrose Oberle, William Oberle, Phillip Oberle, Andrew Oberle, Jerome Oberle, and Clement Oberle; and three sisters, Mary Hertach, Barbara Orth, and Rita Stoss.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 5, 2025, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Father Prakash Kola presiding. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation will take place from noon to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 4, 2025, with Altar Society Rosary at 4:00 p.m., family receiving guests from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Vigil with Rosary at 7:00 p.m., all at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials have been designated to Prince of Peace Parish, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
