Anna was born on July 23rd, 1936, to the late Mary Alice Kittrell. Anna graduated from Carver Smith High School.
For over fifty years, she dedicated her time and energy to serving in the cafeteria of Whitthorne Middle School, where she became a beloved figure to generations of children and staff. Her warm smile and compassionate heart made every meal a moment of kindness, and she touched countless lives with her humble service. She was known for her unwavering faith, her generosity of spirit, and her deep commitment to helping others. She was a dedicated mother who also lovingly cared for her flowers, finding beauty in each bloom, and her garden was a reflection of her vibrant and nurturing soul.
Her love extended beyond her work, as she was a faithful member to her church, Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, until her health became a challenge.
She is survived by her children John Primm, Jr., Renee (Stephen) Sharp, and Cheryl Cole. She also leaves behind an abundance of grand and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and loved ones. Though she has left this world, we take comfort in knowing that she is now resting in the arms of her Savior, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. She was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Primm.
The family requests any memorial contributions be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in lieu of flowers. You can go to the website komen.org or call 1-877-GO- Komen.
Her love, her faith, and her legacy will live on in all of us. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
