Anna R. Wetzler, 101, of Lititz and formally of Neffsville, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025 at Luther Acres, Lititz. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Elsie Ruthhart Rothfus. She was the loving wife of the late Arthur J. Wetzler Sr., who passed away in 1990. They were married for 32 years. Anna was a bookkeeper for the former Armstrong World Industries, Lancaster for 42 years. She was the oldest living member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Lancaster. Anna was also a member of the Manheim Township Lions Club. Her hobbies included quilting and cooking. Anna enjoyed making soups and pies for the Neffsville Fire Company, knitting Christmas stockings and donating cookies for family and friends.
Surviving is a daughter-in-law, Donna Wetzler of East Petersburg and seven nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Arthur Wetzler, Jr., and siblings, Donald, Richard, and her twin brother, Earl Rothfus.
The family would like to thank the staff at Luther Acres, Lititz for their excellent care for Anna.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Anna’s Funeral Service at Buch Funeral Home, 216 South Broad Street, Lititz, on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM. There will be a viewing from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers those desiring may send contributions to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 10 Delp Road, Lancaster, PA 17601or the Alzheimer’s Association, 3544 North Progress Avenue, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
