Annabelle Hebert Fanguy, 94 years old, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 11, 2022. She was born on April 16, 1927 and was a native of Raceland and resident of Houma, La.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Bernadette Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Francis Cemetery No. 2.
Annabelle is survived by her step-sons, Glenn Fanguy, Sr. and Darryl Fanguy and wife, Kim; step-daughter-in-law, Bonnie Fanguy; Seven step-grandchildren, Tara Daigre (Terry), Kylee Fanguy, Toni Ann Fanguy, Becky Detiveaux (Shawn), Patty Stevens (Tim), Joshua Brunet and Christopher Fanguy; twelve step-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Fanguy, Sr.; parents, Edward and Alzina Hebert; seven brothers, Edward, Magnel, Alberta, Iley, Joseph, Leon and Norris; one sister, Evana Trahan; step-son, Anthony (Tony) Fanguy, Jr.; step-daughter, Donna Fanguy Brunet; step-grandsons, Glenn Fanguy, Jr. and Ryan Brunet.
Annabelle was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Ms. Belle as all affectingly called her, loved to dance and visiting with family and friends. She was a beautiful and godly woman that was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
The family would like to thank Haydel Hospice and caregivers, Tennera and Beverly for the loving care given to her. Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
