Waterville – After a long hard-fought battle with lung cancer Annalee Burnor born February 24, 1955 in Burlington, Vermont lost her battle (probably the only fight she ever lost) on Saturday April 13, 2024.
Ann was a woman of many talents and would finish everything she started to perfection. She worked at Smugglers Notch in the maintenance department as well as Johnson Woolen Mills retail shop. She was also a home knitter for many years making hats for Moriarty's in Stowe and sweaters for other companies.
She got her LNA license and worked for Home Health and the Manor in Morrisville.
She was so passionate about the world of horses. From being a competitor to running a 4-H club. Showing horses with her family in local and reginal competitions. From her first horse Velvet to her Morgan's and her beloved Palomino Quarter Horse Cosmo she spent over 40 years caring for them.
She leaves behind her husband of 51 years Bob, her best friends in life – her daughters who were helping care for her till the end Danielle and Ashley. Her son Chris her loyal dogs Julie and Chance, also many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Collise and Gertrude Brown.
Ann had an infectious smile and sense of humor. She is and will always be missed by those that knew her.
She asked that there be no services held, just rejoice in the memories. She also asked that in lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Lamoille Area Cancer Network, 198 Farr Ave, Morrisville, VT 05661.
