Anne Kearney passed away surrounded by family on October 6, 2025, at the age of 75.
Anne was the loving wife to James Kearney, the father to Lauren (Robert) and Brian (Kelly), Mom-Mom to Carter, and sister to Billy Cook and Eileen Paul.
She is predeceased by her Father William Cook and Mother Anne Clark.
Anne was born in Philadelphia, PA, where she resided until moving to Sewell, NJ in 2022. Anne was an alumni of Nativity B.V.M and Hallahan Catholic High School. Anne married the love of her life in 1972 and spent 53 wonderful years together. Anne always had a love for her life, but shared that her favorite part was watching her children play sports and her friendships that came from that. Anne enjoyed her walks with her husband around Pennypack Park. Anne enjoyed her summers at Winchester Swim Club with neighbors and friends. The last and greatest change to her life started with her Grandson, Carter. Anne and Carter shared a special and loving relationship, that she was so proud of. Anne went through life with grace and warmth, that she shared with everyone she encountered.
Family and friends are invited to Anne's Life Celebration on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 11:00am until her memorial service at 1:00pm, at the John F. Givnish Funeral Home, 10975 Academy Road, Philadelphia, PA, 19154. Interment will be private. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Anne, please visit our floral store.
