Annette Elizabeth Reid Harrison, age 77 of Augusta passed away peacefully at Wellstar/MCG on 27 Oct 2025. She was born in Augusta. She was a long-time member at Augusta Christian Church.
Annette attended Palmer Business School and later worked as a secretary at Fort Gordon. She also worked at Carole Fabrics as a bookkeeper and at Wife Saver Restaurants as a server, before she retired. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go on cookouts with friends. She enjoyed doing needlepoint and seek-and-find puzzles.
Annette is preceded in death by her mother, Nellie Mae Sutton Reid, father, David Whitney Reid, beloved husband, Robert R Harrison, brother, Benjamin Thomas “Tommy” Reid (Gloria), and niece, Janifer Lynn Reid. She is survived by her brother, Fred Henry Reid, her loving son, David Paul Reid and daughter, Kathleen Mary Yeck, her granddaughter, Destiney Yeck and grandsons, Zackery and Justis Yeck, great-grandchildren, Railynn Marie and Colton Lee Ard, along with nephews, Fred Jamison “Jamie” Reid (Carrie) and Heath Reid, Step-niece, Jenny Irwin and step-nephew, Tony Burnett.
Gary Judy will be the officiant at the graveside service on Thursday October 30, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Westview Cemetery, 2051 Division St, Augusta.
