Anni Fertig Obituary

Anni was Born in Germany on February 17, 1926. She moved to America in 1946 and married Paul Fertig on November 5, 1961. They moved to Mount Vernon, NY where they raised their children. After, they moved to Montrose, NY where they lived for several years.
She is predeceased by her husband Paul. Surviving is her daughter, Sonya Widmayer (husband Richard), Paul Fertig (wife Debra), and 4 grandchildren: Joseph, Christina, Nicole and Kelsey. And two great-grand children, Kai and Audrey.
Anni was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking. She was fond of poetry and card writing of which she took much pride in.
She always made us laugh and smile with her beautiful yodeling. She will be missed by all and fondly remembered.
A celebration of life visitation will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 2-4pm, with a prayer service at 3:30pm at the Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home, 111 N. Gaston Avenue, Somerville, NJ. To send condolences to the family, visit brucevanarsdalefuneralhome.com
