It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Annjeny Barrozo Atienza, age 48, who went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 22, 2025.
Annjeny lived a life full of faith, strength, and joy. A devoted Occupational Therapist, she was passionate about her career and dedicated to helping her patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. Her compassion and care touched countless lives, leaving a lasting impact on those she served.
An avid runner, Annjeny found freedom and excitement in participating in 5K races, always pushing herself with determination and a bright smile. She was a passionate fan of Tampa Bay sports, cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning as they lit up the ice and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as they took the field. Her Sundays were filled with worship and fellowship as a devoted member of Radiant Church in Odessa, where her faith in Christ shone brightly to all who knew her.
Annjeny fought a courageous and inspiring battle with stage 4 cancer, showing incredible grace, perseverance, and unshakable faith throughout her journey. Her love for her family was immeasurable, and she leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and unwavering hope.
She is lovingly survived by her beloved 8-year-old son, Luke; her parents, Armando and Cobina; her sister, Anajane; and her brother, Armaine. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and all whose lives were blessed by her presence.
A celebration of Annjeny’s life will be held at Faupel Funeral Home on October 4, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. EST.
