Ms. Anntoninette Rosemarie Graves was born on May 25, 1970, in Orange County, NC and peacefully transitioned from labor to reward on June 22, 2025, in Charlotte, NC at Atrium Health Center Carolinas Medical Center.
"Candy" as she was lovingly called by her family and friends was educated in the Alamance-Burlington School System and was a graduate of Hugh M. Cummings High School and Alamance Community College. During high school she lettered in track and set school, state and national records in the shot-put event. "Candy" was a member of To God Be the Glory Church in Charlotte, NC where she was active on the usher board, and kitchen committee along with participating in the food ministry. She would work for Carmisa Morris in the "Julias Franks" concession & catering. Her hobbies included her watching her favorite sport teams, The "Washington Commanders" and Boston Celtics Basketball team.
Anntoninette's legacy will be forever cherished by her son, James Harrelson (Trenesha Hamilton), her mother, Mary Graves Woods, one sister, Laverne G. Newman (Jessie) brothers, Taberius N. Graves, Carldwell L. Graves (Jacqueline), Michael Graves and one grandchild, Chastian Hamilton.
"Candy" was preceded in death by her father, Gordon Woods, one brother, Terrence M. Graves, one sister, Frances Graves Watlington and one granddaughter, Eliza Hamilton
