Leon graduated from Hugh M. Cummings High School. He loved gardening, dancing and listening to music. Leon also took time to read the word of the Lord.
Leon is survived by his aunts: Ruby Harris and Christine Wright both of Burlington; special cousin: Wayne Hester; best friend Louis Lawson and a host of cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his aunts: Barbara Sue Harris, Amy Hester, Winfraud Thaxton; uncles Curtis Harris, Robert Harris and James L. Thaxton. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Curtis, please visit our floral store.
