MR. ANTHONY LENORRIS BROWN, age 43, of Walterboro, SC passed away on Wednesday, October 8th, 2025, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, SC. Family and friends may call at the funeral home. FREEMAN FUNERAL HOME, WRENS in charge.
On Saturday, January 23, 1982, a baby boy was born to Laverne Lane and Donnie Brown in Augusta, Georgia whom they named Anthony Lenorris Brown. On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the tender age of 43, Anthony was called from his earthly labor to his heavenly reward.
Anthony was affectionately called "Big Chief" by his family and friends. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age an attended various churches within the local area.
Anthony received his education by attending the public school of Jefferson County, Georgia. He graduated from the Jefferson County High School with the Class of 2001.
After completing high school, Anthony had a desire to tackle the workforce, so he worked various jobs until he found his niche. Before his untimely passing, Anthony was gainfully employed with Gehl Food and Beverage of Walterboro, South Carolina.
Our dearly beloved Anthony loved his family with all his heart and enjoyed spending quality time with them as often as he could. He loved-loved football. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler's fan. Anthony was preceded in death by a brother, Domenic Jordan formally of Wrens, Georgia and a god-brother, Le'Edward Brown formally of Matthews, Georgia.
A lifetime of precious memories are left to be forever cherished by those he leaves behind: a loving and devoted wife, Essie Campbell Brown of Walterboro, South Carolina; two daughters, Yazmin Brown of Charleston, South Carolina and Siera Brown of Walterboro, South Carolina; one son, Rahien Little of Summerville, South Carolina; a loving mother, Laverne Lane Tucker of Wrens, Georgia; a loving father, Donnie (Connie) Brown of Louisville, Georgia; four sisters, Tiffany Lane of Stapleton, Georgia, Pennyeda Patterson of Charlotte, North Carolina, Daniella Cunningham of Louisville, Georgia and Tamerra Brown of Augusta, Georgia; two brothers, Donderick Jenkins of Augusta, Georgia and Terrence Lovette of Waynesboro, Georgia; a god-son, Prince Johnson of Walterboro, South Carolina; god-brothers, Xavier Brown and Timothy Brown, both of Wrens, Georgia, Charleston; a host of aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
