Anthony Dalto Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Ventura on Apr. 2, 2024.
Anthony Frank (Tony) Dalto Jr., 81, of Ojai, CA, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on March 16, 2024. Tony was born in Ventura to Tony and Beulah Dalto on September 25, 1942. He went to Nordhoff High School, graduating in 1961 and went on to earn his AA degree from Ventura College after which he served his community as a Ventura County Deputy Sheriff. He then had a long career owning and working in his own dental lab which gave him the flexibility to be involved with all of his sons' sports and activities; coaching, filming, encouraging, and being their biggest cheerleader. His family was his greatest joy; especially annual vacations with them in Catalina and Bass Lake. He had a larger than life personality, with a quick wit and was legendary in his story telling. He was always ready to offer his friendship and help, even to strangers, and was loved in return. He is fondly remembered by many.
Tony is survived by his wife of almost 56 years, Connie, his three living sons and spouses: Brian and Monica, Andrew and Kirsten, Aaron and Jasmine, daughter-in-law Christina Muslow and sister Leta Whitmeyer, 11 grandchildren: Isabella, Ryan, Giovanni, Riley, Giuseppe, Ella, Luca, Ragan, Lily, Stephen, and Bodie and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by son Robert and infant son Joel, parents Tony and Beulah, sister Pat, and brother Alvin.
A memorial service will be held May 11th at 2:00 p.m. at the Ojai Presbyterian Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, Ventura.

I just want to say, my heart is with Connie, and the family at this time.
Tony was a big part of my life.
My pop, and Tony were best friends, Tony was always there for my pop, as pop was there for Tony.
I feel comfort knowing that they are both together again.
Love ya BIG DOG!
RIP.
