Anthony T. Donaldson

Anthony Tyrone Donaldson, a lifelong and beloved resident of Mount Clemens, Michigan, passed away in the early morning hours of February 16, 2026, at the age of 67. Born in Mount Clemens on July 16, 1958, to the late John E. and Earline (Thacker) Donaldson, Anthony's life was deeply rooted in the community he called home.

A familiar and friendly face to many, Anthony carried a strong work ethic throughout his life. He spent years working alongside his father in the construction field, brought his dedication to the local Mitchell Buick dealership, and was a daily, welcoming presence for the students of the Mount Clemens Community School District as a High School Cafeteria Aide.

Above all, Anthony was defined by his generous heart and his deep devotion to his loved ones. He was the kind of man who would do whatever he could to support his family and friends. Those who had the privilege of knowing him will forever cherish his unmistakable sense of humor, which consistently brought laughter and light to those around him. Beyond his family, Anthony found joy and freedom in riding his motorcycles, and he shared a lifelong, special bond with his beloved dogs over the years.

His memory and legacy will be carried forward by a large and loving family. Anthony will be deeply missed by his children, Wayne, Jamika, Daisha, Kayla, and Anthony; his sixteen grandchildren; and his four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Linda, Margaret, David, Martha, James, and Lavette, alongside a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and cherished friends.

He now reunites in peace with those who preceded him in death, including his beloved son, Zjhontal; his parents, John E. and Earline; and his siblings, Virginia, Frances Ann, John Edward, and Mary Bess.

Visitation will be held in the Harold W. Vick Funeral Home, 140 South Main, Mt. Clemens on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at New Life in Christ Church, 42 Moser Place, Mt. Clemens on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 12:00 noon, family hour at 11:00. Anthony will be laid to rest at Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Twp.
