RICHFORD - Anthony "Tony" Dupra, age 57, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Mass General Hospital in Cambridge, MA.
He was born in Syracuse, NY on February 24, 1968 to Bonnie (Lumbra) Dupra and the late Bruce Dupra.
Tony made his home in Richford where he was a cherished member of the community. He was known for his strong will and tremendous work ethic, served as the head press operator for the St. Albans Messenger, a role he embraced passionately for many years. His dedication to his work was truly inspiring, as he always showed up even during his brave battle with cancer, a testament to his strength and resilience.
But Tony was much more than a hard worker. He had the gift of gab and a genuine heart that made everyone feel welcome at Kathy's Tavern, where he loved to socialize and lend a helping hand. In his downtime, you could find him indulging in his favorite hobbies-woodworking, golfing, or planning his next trip to a casino.
Above all, Tony was a devoted family man. He adored his grandchildren, passionately coaching their basketball teams, attending every soccer game, and eagerly looking forward to hosting them on Friday nights. Those moments filled his heart, and he cherished every second spent with them.
He is survived by his soulmate, Kathy Royea; his daughter, Alexis Dupra and her significant other Ethan Lamothe; Kathy's daughters, Sonia Wood and her husband Gary, and Katie Brassil and her significant other Craig Chevalier; grandchildren, Ellyree, Raiden, Connor, Mariah, Ryan, Cayden, Adaleigh, Addison, and Aspen; his mother, Bonnie Dupra; sister, Sonya Greeno and her significant other William Demag; and many nieces & nephews. Tony was predeceased by his father, Bruce Dupra.
Friends & family are invited to Tony's life celebration on Thursday, October 2, 2025 to include visitation from 1-3:00 PM followed with a funeral service at 3:00 PM at the Goss-Spears Life Celebration Home, 96 Dickinson Avenue, Enosburg Falls, VT.
