Carolyn J. Dupra

Carolyn J. Dupra, age 84 of Malone, NY passed away October 7, 2022 at the Alice Center in Malone, NY. Service will be held at a later date, at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dupra is survived by her children, PeggySue Fowler, Nelson Dupra, John Dupra, Ronald Dupra all of Riverside, CA, Donald Dupra, of San Jacinto, CA, and Vickie Dupra of Riverside, CA; a sister, Carrie Colvin; her grandchildren, Jacob Dupra and his wife Stephine and Dominique Dupra- Giddens; and her great-grandchildren, Taylor, Oliver, Liem, Ava, and Rayen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Gates McMillan and stepfather, Ben Frank McMillan; a daughter, Sally Ann Dupra of Malone, NY, a husband, Norman Dupra of Constable, NY; her sisters, Wanda Monier and Veva Kessler; and her first husband, Alvin Newbury.
Carolyn was born December 8, 1937 in Oklahoma City, OK to the late Frank Cain and Mary Gates. She worked retail the majority of her life, 40 years with Montgomery Ward and J.C. Penny. She was married to Norman Joseph "Joe" Dupra, he predeceased her. She loved anything to do with lions, tigers, cheetahs, and also enjoyed crossword puzzles and sudoku. She was Jehovah's Witness, loved to travel, living in the country, and was a collector of tin cans. CJ loved her family and enjoyed time spent with family and talking to them whenever she had the opportunity.
