Anthony Ray Hurdle (aka Poodie) was born December 4, 1966. He was born to the late Sammie Ray Hurdle and Lessie Mae Tinnin Hurdle. Anthony graduated from Walter M. Williams High School, Class of 1986. Anthony worked at Shawmut Infinity.
If you ever met Poodie, you had a friend to the end. He loved his family and friends. One of the things Anthony loved to do more than anything was singing and dancing. He really thought he could dance and wasn't doing a thing! He was the most loving person, Friendly, would give the shirt off his back to anyone he ever met. He always loved to see everyone smile, and everybody was Cuzz!! One of the many things the family will miss is when he told a story, and when he crossed his legs, he was getting ready to say to you one, and everyone knew it and would walk away!!
He leaves to cherish his wife Angela Hurdle, children Antana Hurdle, stepchildren Aleeza Starks (Andre), and Derrica Barbee. His Mother, Lessie T. Hurdle, sisters Michelle Daye, Yvette T. Slade (Donald). Brother Lester Slade. Aunts Annie Tinnin, Ruthie Manley (JR), Charlie Hurdle (Ernestine) and Willard Hurdle (Doris), Jearlene Sellars, Paulette Leath (Alonzo), Vera Hurdle, Nettie Guy (Clyde) and Ethel Horton (Clint) In-laws Albert and Cora Crisp. Bonus nieces Kennedi Faucette, Madison Jeffers, and a bonus nephew, Kayson Faucette. Anthony has linked the chains with his loved ones before him. Maternal Grandparents, Tom and Lola Jones; Paternal grandparents, Charlie and Lucille Tinnin; Walter and Ellie Hurdle Parker. Father Sammie R Hurdle, Brothers Varondia Tinnin, Curtis Tinnin, Niece Nia Rae Daye, brother-in-law Ray W. Daye, an uncle William Tinnin, and an aunt Betty Tinnin.
