Anthony Rocco "Harold" Itarelli, 37, of Kingston, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. Born in Lawrence, MA, Anthony was the beloved son of Lawrence and Laura (Barker) Itarelli, and the devoted fiancé of Catherine Rose DiTullio.
Raised in
Methuen, MA, Anthony graduated with the Methuen High School Class of 2006. He brought his vibrant energy and magnetic charm to his work as a poker dealer at Chasers Poker Room and Casino, and more recently at Casino Salem in The Mall at Rockingham Park. His presence at the table was unforgettable-equal parts entertainer and friend.
Anthony wasn't just the life of the party-he was the party. His charisma lit up every room he entered, and his warmth made strangers feel like lifelong friends. He had a rare gift for making people feel seen, heard, and loved. Whether it was a spontaneous heart-to-heart or a hilarious moment shared with someone he'd just met, Anthony gave his time generously and authentically.
He was eagerly anticipating his wedding to Kate this month, a union that brought joy not only to them but to both families who embraced him with open arms. His love for Kate was radiant, and their bond was a source of strength and happiness.
Anthony was a passionate sports fan, with a particular love for football, basketball, all Boston sports, and fishing. His adventures were legendary-he once made it to the Super Bowl without a ticket, and it wasn't unusual for him to end up on the field during a game. His fishing lure collection was vast, but it was the peace of the water that truly called to him.
In the kitchen, Anthony was a fearless creator, known for crafting unforgettable chili and experimenting with flavors that brought people together. He sang with joy, entertained with gusto, and lived with a confidence that turned ordinary moments into cherished memories.
Anthony is survived by his parents Larry and Laura Itarelli of
Methuen, MA; his fiancé Catherine Rose DiTullio of Kingston, NH; his brother Jonathan Itarelli and wife Lisa of Salem, NH; his sister Christina Itarelli of Haverhill, MA; his half-sister Nicole Saindon; his grandmother Connie Barker; Kate's parents Dawn Parayno and her husband Martin, and Rocco DiTullio and his wife Luci; as well as his niece Saydee Penalo, his nephew Rocco, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends and acquaintances whose lives he touched.
