Anthony Martino, age 65, of Philadelphia, passed away on December 24, 2022, of natural causes. Anthony was born on July 16,1957 to Anthony and Rose Marie Martino. In 1980, Anthony met Rita DiPrimeo and went on to get married and have their son Michael. Anthony knew many different trades. Masonry, plumbing, gutters, and roofing were just a few of them. He worked alongside his son Michael at Gutter Gurus for many years.
Anthony enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter Giavanna. He loved rock music, going to concerts, and watching the history channel. Anyone who spoke to Ant, knew how invested he was in Ancient Aliens. Chances are he probably tried to convince them that Jesus was part alien. Anthony was so full of life, love, and crazy stories. He was the type of man who would give his shirt off of his back to a complete stranger and was always there when someone needed help. He was a beautiful soul and will be missed by so many. "And that's all I have to say about that", F.G.
Anthony is preceded in death by his father Anthony Martino, brother Joseph Martino, nephew Nicholas Bonifante, along with other relatives and friends. He is survived by his mother Rose Marie, former wife Rita, son Michael (Maria), granddaughter Giavanna, brother Steven (Pam), sisters Roe and Laura (Jimmy), his cat Angus, Tony the Turtle, many nieces and nephews.
A life celebration will be held at Lambie Funeral Home on, February 4, 2023, at 11:00 am. Friends may greet his family from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
In honor of Anthony, the family asks for everyone who attends to please come in a rock band t-shirt and/or casual attire. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to reelfishingcharities.org
