Anthony Rokos Obituary
Anthony J. Rokos, age 82, of Conshohocken, PA passed away on.
He was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 31, 1942, the son of the late Anthony S. Rokos, Sr. and the late Maryann (Taraska) Rokos.
Tony was raised in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia and lived most of his life in Conshohocken. He was a faithful parishioner of St. Mary's RC Church and St. Matthew's RC Church, both of Conshohocken. He was a fish breeder and enjoyed gardening. For over 50 years, he enjoyed spending summers in Avalon, NJ.
He is survived by his sister, Theresa (Stephen) Grunwald of Villas, NJ; brother, Thomas C. Rokosz of Conshohocken, PA; nieces and nephews, Eric (Noelle), Kurt (Jen), Nicholas (Kate), Kristopher, Kate (Terry), Aprille (Dave) and Taylor; and great nieces and great nephews, Sierra, Addie, Jude, Jack, Callum, James, Carter, Viera, Nathaniel and Archer.
His Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 10:30 AM from St. Matthew's RC Church, 219 Fayette St., Conshohocken, PA 19428. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Thursday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Church.
Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.

My condolences to the Family. Tony & I were friends for at least 50 yrs. we were roommates in Avalon, retreat @ Malvern & I think we went to Jamaica together. We Graduated from Dougherty the same year didn't know each other.
we also went to novena @ Central Association Miraculous Metal on Monday in Germantown. he was a regular
After I married Him & Jack O'Conner would stop Irish weekend for lunch in my North Wildwood home.
We did have some enjoyable times together.
May he rest in peace & pray for us.

Tony will be greatly missed in the Cedar Heights neighborhood. He was a kind and caring neighbor. Always had time for a neighborly chat and always brought something to share (rolls,vegetables,pizza etc). Rest in Peace Tony! We miss you! The Balcer Family

Heaven gained another "St Anthony"! He brought me veggies from his garden and always had a way of making me smile and laugh!! He will be missed!
