Anthony Vito Rossi, of Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025, at the age of 76.
Visiting will be held in Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial, 7 Summit Ave., Summit, NJ 07901 on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 from 4-8 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held in St. Teresa of Avila Church, 306 Morris Ave., Summit, NJ on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 9:30 AM. Interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield, NJ.
Anthony was born and raised in Orange, NJ and resided in Middlesex before settling in Toms River for the past six years.
He built a career as Tri-State Manager for Brick Church Appliance in Orange for 25 years. He then began his new career as the chief IT at Noble Title Agency until his retirement in 2019.
Anthony was very active in the Orange community where he ran for Councilman and was a member of the Rent Leveling Board.
He had many interests in life and loved to stay active as a member of the Boy Scouts of America, coaching the traveling baseball team and was even certified as a scuba instructor. Lovingly referred to as "MacGyver" he was the ultimate Mr. Fix It. Whether it was for relaxation or helping friends and family with home repairs, he enjoyed doing so. Fishing and boating were two of his favorite things in life but most of all was spending time with his loving family.
Anthony is the beloved husband of Stephanie M. Rossi; loving father of Anthony Rossi and his fiancée, Lisa Stately, and Robert Rossi and his wife Paula; cherished grandfather of Julia, Nicholas, Nicole and Drew; dear brother of Arthur Rossi, Vito Rossi and his wife Pam and David Rossi; He was pre-deceased by his parents, Arthur and Nardella Rossi and his sister, Paula Church and brother, Louis Rossi.
In lieu of flowers please make donations in his memory to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Pl. Memphis, TN 38105.
