Alan Pantalone Obituary
Relatives and friends may gather with the family for a Memorial Visitation, to be held at, Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial, 646 Springfield Avenue, Berkeley Heights, NJ, on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 1-3pm. There will be a prayer service beginning at 2pm during visiting hours.
Alan was born, in Newark, NJ, to the late Armand and Anneliese Pantalone, and was a life long resident of New Providence, NJ.
Following high school, he attended Essex County College and received his Associate's Degree.
He was employed in the field of musical instruments. This led him, to work, in the string shop, which consisted of the violin, viola, cello and Bass, which included repair and restoration. He attended Hans J. Nebel, Violin Workshops.
When Alan wasn't working he spent his leisure, visiting the Jersey Shore, roadtrips and reading. Enjoyed the old movies and tv shows.
He was a fan of the New York Rangers and the New York Yankees. Also, enjoyed the events at Mayo Performing Arts Center, with Carol. Alan was passionate about woodworking, art & history. He loved spending time with his cherished dogs, Lucio & Primo.
Alan is survived by his beloved wife Carol Pantalone (nee Neri): his dear brothers, Donald (Kathy) Pantalone, Gary Pantalone and Gene Pantalone, and his Aunt Vicky Pantalone and his nephews Scott Pantalone, Mark Pantalone and Glen Pantalone.

Al was a good friend and mentor. He was always willing to teach and support anyone eager to learn the violin trade. Al's knowledge of the violin family of instruments was endless. He will be missed by many. And I personally will miss his great dry sense of humor.

There's nothing you can say bad about Al! He had a beautiful nature about him, was very easy going, and loved to share laughs with you! You could learn a lot from Al, and a lot of people did. We were very good friends and coworkers throughout 40 plus years! Carol and family are in my prayers.
