Barbara A. Pantalone

Barbara A. Pantalone, age 86, of Newark, DE passed away at her home on November 4, 2025.
Barbara was born in Wilmington, DE, the daughter of the late Florence (Ciconte) and Michael A. Paolino. She graduated from St. Elizabeth High School and worked as an Information Systems Administrator for Atlas/ICI. Along with her husband Pete, Barbara owned and operated Pantalone's Restaurant & Catering on Old Capitol Trail. She later enjoyed working as a cafeteria employee for A.I. DuPont Middle School.
Barbara and her family enjoyed over 35 years of annual vacations in Ocean City, MD. She and her husband, Pete, enjoyed taking cruises and experienced the trip of a lifetime to Italy with their dear friends. She was an avid reader and most importantly, cherished her time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased by husband, Peter A. Pantalone; daughter, Nicole Pantalone; and her brother and sister-in-law, Carmen and Helena Paolino; and brother-in-law, Gabe DeVitto. She is survived by her son, Peter Pantalone III; her daughter-in-law, Pamela Pantalone; her grandchildren, Peter IV (Laina) and Patrick; her great grandchildren, Oliver, Nolan, Kayden; her sister, Patricia DeVitto.
A visitation will be held at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808 from 10:00 A.M. to11:30 A.M. on Thursday, November 13, 2025 with a funeral ceremony following at 11:30 AM. Burial will be private.
