Anthony Santangelo Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bradley Funeral Home - Marlton on Dec. 12, 2025.
Anthony Mario Santangelo, passed away on November 17, 2025, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on July 15, 1954, Anthony's zest for life and charismatic spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He spent his formative years in Bellmawr NJ and most recently was a resident of Spring Hill FL.
Anthony was the husband of Aimee Santangelo. He was a devoted father to Julie (Jeffrey) Sassani, Vincent (Melissa) Santangelo, and Jacqueline (Brian) Brady and proud Papi of his 6 grandchildren, Joey Scheizzari, JJ & Charlotte Sassani, Natalie Brady, Rocco & Antonia Santangelo. Anthony was the beloved brother of John (Kim) Santangelo and a nephew of Greg and Rita Vernacchio. His legacy extends to his many loving nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Rubina Broucious & John Santangelo, who instilled in him the values that he carried throughout his life.
A proud graduate of Paul VI High School and Temple University, Anthony was a man of both intellect and action. After receiving his Bachelor's degree, he served his country with honor in the US Marine Corps, an experience that would shape his unwavering sense of duty and resilience. Anthony's love for sports was evident from his high school days, where he earned the nickname 'Pancho' on the football field, to his fervent support for the University of Alabama. His passion for competition extended beyond the gridiron; he was a man who loved the ponies, frequented casinos, and never backed down from a good bet.
Anthony's spirit was infectious; he could rally a room with a hearty "Roll Tide" cheer and often reminded others to live out "The Impossible Dream." Anthony's presence was a gift, and his absence will be felt deeply by all who had the privilege to know him.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Saturday January 10 from 10-11am at the Bradley Funeral Home 601 Rt. 73 South Marlton where a Memorial Service will be held at 11am.
