Anthony C. Scala "Cowboy Tony AKA Poppi", Sgt. US Marine Corps Veteran, proud alumni from St. Mary's College and St. George High School. Grew up on the Northwest Side of Chicago and spent his adult years in Norridge, IL. A self-made man who was a legend in his own time. Former proprietor of Scala O'Brien Porsche, Audi, Subaru and Saab, located in Chicago on Lawrence Avenue. Anthony was put to rest April 30, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (2004). Loving father of Tony (Angel), Joe (Mary Lou) and Maria Scala Larsen. Cherished grandpa of Anthony, Jacqueline, Mary Kathryn, John Paul, Madeline, Lucia Shea (Paul), Alexandra (Daniel) Humphreys, Mitchell and Maxwell Larsen; great-grandfather of Mason Ross, Bennett Judge, Lauren and Abigail. Dear brother of Caroline (the late Glen) Eberle. Fond uncle to many and dear friend to anyone who met him. The man, the myth, the legend! A celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, May 17th at 1:30pm at Trattoria Porretta Ristorante Pizzeria and Catering, 3656 N Central Ave, Chicago, IL 60634.

A ceremony, celebration of life, and luncheon will be held Wednesday, May 17th at 1:30pm at Trattoria Porretta Ristorante Pizzeria and Catering, 3656 N Central Ave, Chicago, IL 60634. Please RSVP to 630-338-9232 if you are planning to attend.

"Tony", as I knew him was a "Larger than Life" kind of guy. Playing racquetball with him and my Dad John O'Brien in the 1980's showed me how tough, competive and yet warm type of Man he was. My condolences to his family.
