Anthony L Sherman

Sherman - Anthony Lee Sherman, age 35, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on September 1, 2025. He was born on June 21, 1990, in New London, Connecticut. Anthony graduated from Tulsa Welding School with his technical degree in the Master Welder program. He was a beloved son, known for his fierce love of family, faith, wild and loud personality, and crowing like a rooster. Anthony enjoyed playing baseball and all water activities - fishing, swimming, and going to the beach. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Anthony is survived by his parents, Daniel and Isabelita Sherman; son, Zachariaz; brother, Michael; sisters, Donalyn and Anna; and nephews, Garret, Donovyn, and Gavin.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Anthony will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, located at 2400 Mayport Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32233, with Rev. Anthony Bonela officiating. Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Beaches Memorial Park, located at 1500 Main Street, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ferreira Funeral Services at Beaches Memorial Park.
